Version 1.0 — effective 11 September 2026

These terms govern your enrolment onto a course delivered by Arbrit Safety Training and Consultancy L.L.C. ("Arbrit Safety", "we", "us") at our training centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. By submitting this registration form you confirm that you have read, understood and accept them.

1. Registration and confirmation

Submitting this form is an application for a place on the course and batch you selected. It is not a confirmed booking.

Your place is confirmed only when we have received the course fee in full, or written confirmation from your sponsoring employer that it will be invoiced to them. You will receive a registration reference number on submission; quote it in all correspondence with us.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-confirmed basis. If a batch is full we will offer you the next available date.

2. Information you give us

You confirm that the information and documents you submit are true, complete and your own. Awarding bodies verify candidate identity, so we cannot register you on the strength of details that do not match your Emirates ID or passport.

The name you enter as the name for your certificate is the name that will be printed on it. Corrections requested after a certificate has been issued are subject to the awarding body's own reissue fee, which we will pass on to you at cost.

Tell us in writing before the course starts if any of your details change.

3. Fees and payment

Course fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and, unless stated otherwise in writing, are exclusive of 5% VAT.

Fees cover tuition, course materials, the first assessment attempt and, where applicable, the awarding body's registration and certification charge. They exclude re-sit fees, replacement certificates, and any external medical, visa or travel costs.

For individual registrations, payment is due in full before the course start date, by bank transfer, cash, cheque or card. For corporate or sponsored registrations we invoice the sponsoring company, which remains responsible for the fee in full.

Where you upload a payment receipt with this form, it is treated as evidence of payment pending our own reconciliation with the bank.

4. Cancellation, transfer and no-shows

All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to info@arbritsafety.com. The date we receive your written request is the date that applies.

  • Seven (7) or more calendar days before the course start date: transfer to a later batch at no charge, or a refund of the fee paid less an administration charge of AED 200.
  • Three (3) to six (6) calendar days before the start date: one free transfer to a later batch, or a refund of 50% of the fee paid.
  • Less than seventy-two (72) hours before the start date, or non-attendance on the day: the full fee remains payable and no refund is due.
  • Once an awarding body registration has been raised in your name, the portion of the fee covering that registration is non-refundable in all cases.

5. Changes and cancellation by us

We may reschedule or cancel a batch — for instance where minimum numbers are not met, a trainer is unavailable, or for reasons beyond our reasonable control. If we do, you may transfer to another batch at no charge or receive a full refund of the fee paid for that course.

Our liability where we reschedule or cancel is limited to that transfer or refund. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.

6. Attendance, assessment and certification

Awarding bodies including IOSH, LEEA, OTHM, Highfield and STI set the attendance and assessment requirements for their qualifications. Full attendance is normally required, and we cannot certify a candidate who does not meet the published requirement.

Certificates are issued by the awarding body, not by us. We submit results promptly, but issue timelines are set by the awarding body and are outside our control.

Re-sits, where the awarding body permits them, are charged separately at the prevailing rate.

You must bring the original of the identification you registered with to the training centre on the first day.

7. Conduct, health and safety

Our courses include practical work with equipment. You must follow the trainer's instructions and all site safety rules at all times, and wear any personal protective equipment we specify.

Tell us before the course starts about any medical condition, disability or learning need that may affect your participation or assessment, so that we can put reasonable adjustments in place.

We may remove any participant whose conduct puts themselves or others at risk, or who attends under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund is due in that event.

8. Course materials

Course materials remain the property of Arbrit Safety or the relevant awarding body. They are provided for your personal study and may not be copied, recorded, resold or distributed without our written permission.

Photography, audio or video recording during a session is not permitted without the trainer's consent.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of your registration is limited to the fee you paid for the course, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of employment, contracts or profits.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the emirate in which your training centre is located. The courts of that emirate have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown to you at the point of registration is the one that applies to that registration.

Version 1.0 — effective 11 September 2026

Arbrit Safety Training and Consultancy L.L.C. is the data controller for the personal data you provide on this form. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do about it. We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations.

1. The personal data we collect

Through this registration form we collect:

  • Identity data: your full name, the name to be printed on your certificate, date of birth, gender, nationality, and your photograph.
  • Identification documents: your Emirates ID number and copies of both sides, your passport number and a copy of your passport.
  • Contact data: your mobile number and email address.
  • Professional data: your job title, years of experience, whether the course is a refresher, and any previous certificate number and copy.
  • Sponsor data, for corporate registrations: your employer's name, trade licence number, and the name and number of their contact person.
  • Course and payment data: the centre, course and batch you chose, the payment method, any payment receipt you upload, and the sales representative who referred you.
  • Your digital signature and the date and time you accepted this notice and our Terms & Conditions.

2. Why we use it

We use your personal data to:

  • Process your registration, confirm your place and contact you about your course.
  • Verify your identity to the standard the awarding body requires.
  • Register you as a candidate with the awarding body and obtain your certificate.
  • Issue invoices and receipts, take payment, and keep our accounting records.
  • Meet our legal, regulatory, audit and accreditation obligations in the UAE and to awarding bodies.
  • Keep a record of your training history so we can verify your certificate or issue a replacement later.

3. The basis on which we use it

We rely on your consent, given by ticking the box below, and on our need to perform the training contract with you and to comply with legal obligations that apply to us as a training provider.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@arbritsafety.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it, and we may need to keep certain records to meet legal, accounting and awarding-body obligations. If you withdraw consent before your course is complete, we may be unable to register or certify you.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Awarding and accrediting bodies — such as IOSH, LEEA, OTHM, Highfield and STI — to register you and issue your qualification.
  • Your sponsoring employer, where your registration is corporate or employer-funded, including your attendance and assessment result.
  • Regulators, auditors and government authorities in the UAE where the law or our accreditation requires it.
  • Our banks and payment processors, for payment and reconciliation.
  • Our IT service providers, who host this form and our records under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes.

5. Where it is held

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated by Google (Firebase). Awarding bodies we register you with are based outside the UAE, including in the United Kingdom.

This means your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UAE. Where that happens, we transfer only what is necessary and require the recipient to protect it to a standard consistent with UAE data protection law. By accepting this notice you consent to that transfer.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your registration and certification records for five (5) years after your course ends, or longer where an awarding body, tax rule or other UAE law requires it. Financial records are kept for the period required by UAE tax law.

Copies of identification documents are kept only for as long as we need them to verify your identity and satisfy awarding-body and audit requirements, and are then deleted.

7. How we protect it

Your data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and held in access-controlled systems. Only staff who need your data to do their job can see it, and administrative access is restricted by role and by training centre.

8. Your rights

Under UAE data protection law you may ask us to:

  • Give you access to the personal data we hold about you, and information about how it is processed.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your data, or stop or restrict our processing of it, where the law allows.
  • Provide your data to you, or to another controller, in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Stop processing that you object to, including any use for marketing.

9. Contacting us and complaints

To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about this notice, write to info@arbritsafety.com or contact the training centre where you registered. We will respond within the period required by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

10. Marketing

We will contact you about the course you registered for. We will not use your details to send you marketing about other courses or services unless you have separately agreed to receive it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
