Version 1.0 — effective 11 September 2026
These terms govern your enrolment onto a course delivered by Arbrit Safety Training and Consultancy L.L.C. ("Arbrit Safety", "we", "us") at our training centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. By submitting this registration form you confirm that you have read, understood and accept them.
1. Registration and confirmation
Submitting this form is an application for a place on the course and batch you selected. It is not a confirmed booking.
Your place is confirmed only when we have received the course fee in full, or written confirmation from your sponsoring employer that it will be invoiced to them. You will receive a registration reference number on submission; quote it in all correspondence with us.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-confirmed basis. If a batch is full we will offer you the next available date.
2. Information you give us
You confirm that the information and documents you submit are true, complete and your own. Awarding bodies verify candidate identity, so we cannot register you on the strength of details that do not match your Emirates ID or passport.
The name you enter as the name for your certificate is the name that will be printed on it. Corrections requested after a certificate has been issued are subject to the awarding body's own reissue fee, which we will pass on to you at cost.
Tell us in writing before the course starts if any of your details change.
3. Fees and payment
Course fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and, unless stated otherwise in writing, are exclusive of 5% VAT.
Fees cover tuition, course materials, the first assessment attempt and, where applicable, the awarding body's registration and certification charge. They exclude re-sit fees, replacement certificates, and any external medical, visa or travel costs.
For individual registrations, payment is due in full before the course start date, by bank transfer, cash, cheque or card. For corporate or sponsored registrations we invoice the sponsoring company, which remains responsible for the fee in full.
Where you upload a payment receipt with this form, it is treated as evidence of payment pending our own reconciliation with the bank.
4. Cancellation, transfer and no-shows
All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to info@arbritsafety.com. The date we receive your written request is the date that applies.
- Seven (7) or more calendar days before the course start date: transfer to a later batch at no charge, or a refund of the fee paid less an administration charge of AED 200.
- Three (3) to six (6) calendar days before the start date: one free transfer to a later batch, or a refund of 50% of the fee paid.
- Less than seventy-two (72) hours before the start date, or non-attendance on the day: the full fee remains payable and no refund is due.
- Once an awarding body registration has been raised in your name, the portion of the fee covering that registration is non-refundable in all cases.
5. Changes and cancellation by us
We may reschedule or cancel a batch — for instance where minimum numbers are not met, a trainer is unavailable, or for reasons beyond our reasonable control. If we do, you may transfer to another batch at no charge or receive a full refund of the fee paid for that course.
Our liability where we reschedule or cancel is limited to that transfer or refund. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.
6. Attendance, assessment and certification
Awarding bodies including IOSH, LEEA, OTHM, Highfield and STI set the attendance and assessment requirements for their qualifications. Full attendance is normally required, and we cannot certify a candidate who does not meet the published requirement.
Certificates are issued by the awarding body, not by us. We submit results promptly, but issue timelines are set by the awarding body and are outside our control.
Re-sits, where the awarding body permits them, are charged separately at the prevailing rate.
You must bring the original of the identification you registered with to the training centre on the first day.
7. Conduct, health and safety
Our courses include practical work with equipment. You must follow the trainer's instructions and all site safety rules at all times, and wear any personal protective equipment we specify.
Tell us before the course starts about any medical condition, disability or learning need that may affect your participation or assessment, so that we can put reasonable adjustments in place.
We may remove any participant whose conduct puts themselves or others at risk, or who attends under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund is due in that event.
8. Course materials
Course materials remain the property of Arbrit Safety or the relevant awarding body. They are provided for your personal study and may not be copied, recorded, resold or distributed without our written permission.
Photography, audio or video recording during a session is not permitted without the trainer's consent.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of your registration is limited to the fee you paid for the course, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of employment, contracts or profits.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the emirate in which your training centre is located. The courts of that emirate have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown to you at the point of registration is the one that applies to that registration.
